Thanks to Sarah and Vicki

Kind reader Sarah sent me a lovely Thanksgiving card and some sheets of sticky canvas that I will have so much fun playing with once I can get back into my craft room.

Thanks, Sarah, for thinking of me!

Vicki sent me a fab one-layer Christmas card just because I asked for it. Thanks, Vicki!!!

I'm so sad not to be stamping right now. But my house is coming together slowly but surely, the staging company comes tomorrow, and the for sale sign goes up on Saturday.

And speaking of cleaning (well, sort of), consider the truth of this poster I found on Pinterest:

And wow, I have a lot.

Be happy.

  1. I'm so glad to hear the house is coming together, your new house looks wonderful. It is amazing how much stuff we have, I was talking to a friend the other day who has lived in only three houses her whole life. She keeps everything! I have moved many times in my life and can't imagine not doing a cull every once in a while.

  2. I am so glad things are going well. I was exploring my closet the other day and found a (new) pair of shoes I did not realize I had! Joy!

  4. Another take being "you never know what you have until you have to pack it up in boxes to move!". They're going to have to carry me out of this house (a long time from now) when I die because I'm too afraid to move! LOL! Hope it's all going well - the new house looks great!

  7. Glad things are coming together! Please let us know any great staging tips you learn. I keep thinking how freeing it would be to live in a clutter-free staged house (with a few family pictures, of course, so it's not totally depersonalized)--but without all the stacks of paper we somehow manage to accumulate. Our house in Washington now is bigger than our house was in Florida, but I do not want to buy any more furniture--I want it to feel roomy, not full.

I'm not jealous of your having to pack up and move, but oh, the new house!!!!! Such possibilities! How exciting!
